Gareth Bowers founded Pulse around 2011 with a straightforward goal: to offer the kind of landscaping and driveway installation that West Yorkshire homeowners could genuinely rely on. Not the kind of work that looks fine for a season and then starts to fail. Proper work — properly prepared, properly installed, and properly finished.
In the years since, Pulse has grown steadily through word of mouth, repeat customers, and a reputation for getting jobs done right. Meet Gareth Bowers
Gareth is the founder and driving force behind Pulse. He's City & Guilds qualified — one of the trade's most respected professional accreditations — and brings that expertise to every project he takes on. He doesn't run the business from an office. He's on site, overseeing the work directly, making sure the standard that Pulse promises is the standard that gets delivered.

Customers mention him specifically because he's the person they deal with from initial survey through to project completion. There's no sales team, no account manager handed off to once you sign — just Gareth and a team that knows what it's doing.

How We Work
We don't believe in cutting corners or talking customers into materials they don't need. When Gareth visits your property for the free survey, he'll listen to what you're after, look at the space properly, and give you an honest recommendation. If he thinks a particular approach will give you a better result, he'll say so — and explain why.
Once the job starts, we work cleanly and efficiently, communicate throughout, and don't finish until the job meets our own standards — which are higher than most customers even think to ask for. The 10-year warranty is the proof of that.
We price fairly for the quality of work we deliver. We're not the cheapest, and we don't try to be — but customers consistently tell us that the finished result is worth every penny.
