Density and stitch rate affect how full and realistic the grass looks, and how well it handles foot traffic and pet use. Our higher-grade products use a higher stitch count for a dense, premium finish that doesn't flatten easily.

Colour and realism. Today's artificial grass includes multiple blade colours — typically a blend of two or three greens, often with brown thatch fibres woven through the base layer. Professional Artificial Grass Installation — What to Expect

Artificial Grass Care and Maintenance

One of the main reasons people choose artificial grass is to reduce maintenance — so the care requirements are deliberately minimal. If you'd prefer a natural lawn, we also offer professional turf installation.

• Brush occasionally. Use a stiff-bristled brush or a specialist lawn rake to brush the fibres against the grain every few weeks. This keeps the blades upright and prevents the surface from matting down in high-traffic areas. It takes five minutes.
• Rinse for pets. If you have dogs, hose down the lawn regularly to wash away urine and keep the surface fresh. The perforated backing and aggregate base are designed to drain quickly, so there's no standing water or odour issue if you stay on top of it.
• Remove debris. Leaves, twigs, and other garden debris can be removed with a leaf blower or a stiff brush. Avoid using metal rakes, which can pull at the fibres.
• No chemicals needed. You don't need weedkillers, lawn treatments, fertilisers, or pesticides. The weed membrane below handles any potential growth from underneath, and because there's no organic material in the surface itself, weeds have nothing to take hold in.
